What's Different About an Assembly Space
Occupant load drives nearly every major decision: how many exits the space needs and how wide they are, what the fire protection and alarm systems must handle, how the mechanical system keeps a full room comfortable, and what the structure spans so the floor plan stays open. A venue that seats a few hundred people is a different building, reviewed under a different occupancy classification, and designing to that reality from the start is considerably cheaper than converting to it later.
What We Build
Event venues: wedding and private event spaces where the open span, the finishes, and the back-of-house flow all have to serve a room full of guests at once. Gathering and community spaces: multipurpose facilities, community buildings, and civic gathering rooms built for heavy, varied use. We work alongside your design team from feasibility forward through RightStart, costing the design at four points as it matures so the cost stays under your control alongside the design.
Protecting a Date That's Already Booked
A venue books revenue before it opens: weddings get deposits, seasons get sold, and a community facility promises its congregation or neighborhood a date. We schedule backward from it and put float where the risk actually sits, long-lead structural components, fire protection and alarm inspections, and the trades that cannot start until something else finishes. Life safety inspections on an assembly space are planned like any other trade, not left to chance.
Who's Accountable
As your general contractor, we manage licensed trade partners we have spent years vetting and onboarding. Our team has been building since 1993 and learned the work hands-on before ever managing projects, so the people accountable for your building know what the work in front of them should look like. Because we also manage custom home projects, our commercial finish work holds to a residential standard of detail, and in a venue, the finishes are part of what the client is renting.
